InKAS offers the online Korean Language Study Program free of charge. This program will be a second option for adoptees who are unable to participate in the "Korean Language Scholarship" in South Korea. The online Korean Language Program is also an option for adoptees who would like to prepare for the scholarship program in advance. This program is free of charge only for adoptees and adoptive families who desire to learn the language with their children. The site (http://cyber.inkas.com) sponsors 50% of the total tuition while InKAS covers the other 50% with a grant from the Ministry of Health and Welfare.
What is the ‘Online Korean Language’ program?
This innovative program called Online Korean Language, was developed by Yonsei University’s KLI (Korean Language Institute) and by "cylang.com". It embodies a well-analyzed, systematic learning structure and a diverse linguistic approach in order to provide level appropriate language learning for every user.
This program features an interesting FLASH/ Action Script that allows students to interact while learning the basic principles of the Korean language: Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing.
This program analyzes the student’s Korean ability and places them accordingly within the KLI curriculum. The KLI condenses the KLI Regular program for one and a half years into a 6 level course lasting 6 months.
